I saw these large letters at my local craft store and fell in LOVE with them! I wanted to make a wreath with the initial of my last name. I wanted to make it Whimsical with a bit of Shabby Chic Flair. I loved the final product! Let me know what you think! What sort of wreath are you hanging up this year?

Earring Hanger
I don't know about you but I am constantly losing my dangley earrings or they sit in a pile on my counter in the bathroom! I wanted a cute way of displaying them so I came up with these! These would also make a great bow holders! I will have to make Presley one for her room! These two were actually what I gave the teachers for end of the year gifts! I hope they liked them! Let me know what you think!

Subway Art
So about a year ago now we remodeled our downstairs bathroom and for about a year I've been looking for some type of black and white art to put on the walls.
When we were in Leavenworth (a small Bavarian town in Washington) I bought a canvas with subway art for about $50.00! Just recently I found some subway art at Marshall's and TJ Max for $16.99! Cheaper yes! But I had an idea that I could make it even cheaper!
This is my first attempt at subway art! It's not perfect but I kind of like it that way! I plan on covering all the walls in my powder room with subway art for some bathroom reading material! Ha, ha!
So do you want to know how I made this?!?!
First of all I bought a canvas at Michael's! It was 40% off! I paid a few dollars for a blank canvas!
I have so many alphabet stickers from scrap-booking and to be truthful I really don't like using stickers! And these ones I used on this canvas were super tacky! Not my style at all!
I looked for some fun quotes, placed the stickers on the canvas and then used acrylic paint over the letters! I let it dry for about an hour and then peeled off the stickers! And PRESTO! Subway art for really $3.00!

Weekly Menu
Made this Menu Plan Board for the my Kitchen! Trying to stay organized with a busy schedule!
I bought a 12x12 picture frame, picked out a piece of scrapbook paper that would match the decor of my kitchen and found this vinyl Kitchen Menu piece at Ben Franklin!
I added the vinyl to the scrapbook paper and then placed the scrapbook paper in the frame! Viola! A easy peasy menu planner!

Thank U's
More cards I made while we were stuck in the house for 7 days! I've had no Thank you cards around for a while! So it was defiantly time to replenish! Kind of feeling guilty about not getting around to sending out Thank U's! So no more excuses because they are made!
Feeling the Love!
Last week we were house bound all week because of snow! I thought what a great opportunity to start whipping out some Valentines Day cards! Or was it just to get an escape from the kids and hubby for an hour!! (just kidding!)
Not really sure why the bottom one is so blurry! But you get the idea! They turned out super cute and I'm ready to send some Love in the mail to family and friends!
XOXO-

Challenge #2: Be Merry Sign
Challenge number 2 is completed! WOOHOOO!
This was super easy and took me about 20 minutes!
The sign was a sign I used to have in my kitchen! It had apples on it (I used to have an apple theme in my kitchen! Super UGLY! What was I thinking!).A few months ago I spray painted it with chalk board paint but then never did anything with it! I decided to make a cute sign for the door or for inside!
I alternated red and cream ribbon. Wrote Be Merry with chalk from the garage and hung it off of our China Hutch! Super easy and I think cute!

Challenge 1: Thankful Banner
Wow finally getting around to my challenges! Life has been awesome but extremely busy lately!
I made this Thankful Banner for my parents as a hostess gift. They always open their home every year and I just wanted to give back and say THANKS!
I loved the way the banner turned out, but let me tell you how hard this was to NOT GO TO THE CRAFT STORE! I am a perfectionist when it comes to crafting. I want everything to be perfect. I almost didn't finish this because I wanted different ribbon and sparkly letters. But I trekked on and finished!

Halloween Decorations
Made these cupcakes for our adult Halloween party! They looked very cool but I guess they didn't taste so good. To much black die?!?! How do you get the frosting to not look purple, be black but still taste good? Open to suggestions!
Pat and I bought all these cool bottles and antique stores and then we bought Martha Stewart
labels and decorated them adding colored water to the bottles! That bottle really does say Witches Brew not "bitches"!
Banner I made today! It took me about an hour to make! Need to finish on part I want to put googly eyes in the center of the "O's"!
Spider Webs!
This is such a cool craft to do with the kids! I can't take the credit for this idea! I worked in Presley's kindergarten class a few weeks ago and I helped the kids make these! I thought that it was such a fun idea that we would make more at home and hang them up around the house.
So simple all you need is:
Hot Glue Gun
Glue Sticks
A large bowl with water
A bag of spider rings.
Help your kiddos and let them hold your hand as you drip the hot glue into the water bowl. They can help guide your hand. Make a large circle, then add the lines and lastly had the spirals!
Sprinkle water on them. They harden in just a few seconds. Take out and let them dry on a paper towel.
The next day I found a bag of spiders at Walgreen's I cut the ring part off and hot glued them to the web!
Hang with fishing line around different areas in your house! FUN! FUN!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

Carnival Party!
Candy Bar/Cake & Banner
Balloon Dart Station
Favorite Station for all the kids was the Gold Fish Station!
Ladder Ball Station
Face Painting Station
My Neigbor Kelly made this amazing cake!
Wow look at all those clowns!
Ring Toss
Bean Bag Toss
Today we had a 7th Birthday Carnival for my son Ethan! Wow so much fun! We had seven stations set up! 1) Balloon Darts 2) Football through the hula hoop 3) Ring Toss around the Coke bottle
4) Bean Bag Toss 5) Face Painting Station 6) Ladder Ball 7) Fish Toss !
The Biggest hit I believe of the party was each child got to bring home a gold fish as a prize! (Hope to many parents weren't upset!)
And instead of having goodie bags we did a candy bar! That was so much fun, I think the parents enjoyed some of the treats as well!
