Brownie Treat!

A local new bakery makes these brownie lollipops with sprinkles and my kids just love them! So Ethan has requested them to take to school for his birthday snack day! Instead of going to the bakery and buying them (I think that they are about $1.00/a piece) I made these cute treats in Ethan's class for $0.78 (and I was able to make 22 of them)! I already had the lollipop sticks, bags, tag punches and stamps! Hope the kids enjoy them this afternoon!

If you would like to know how I made these!
  • I used a boxed brownie mix Betty Crocker (I found this box for 0.78 at Winco Foods
  • Baked them in a small muffin tray for 20 mins @ 350
  • I let them cool for about an hour, the second batch I did was at 11:00 pm so to speed the cooling process up I placed them in the fridge for 10 minutes!
  • I then double boiled a bag of Chocolate Chips
  • Dipped the bottom of the muffin into the melted chocolate
  • Dipped in a bowl full of sprinkles.
  • I placed them in the fridge over night
  • Next morning placed the lollipop sticks in them (I used Wilton Lollipop sticks)
  • Placed them in the treat bags. (I used the 4"x6" treat bags found @ Michael's)
  • Added the cute tag that I stamped and used a twist tie to close it!

Simple and inexpensive!

Okay so not really a bakery it's Legendary Doughnuts! Have you been there yet? Soooo yummy!
Ethan's b-day is in August but they celebrated his birthday anyways! The kids loved them!
They even hanged the tags I made from there clothing too! Kids are so funny!
